What should I expect during my first massage?
Your therapist will go over the information you provide on your health form to ensure a safe and effective massage that meets your goals or needs.
This is where you can let your therapist know areas you would like worked on, or avoided.
Do I have to be completely undressed?
The short answer is NO. You can undress to your level of comfort. Some people completely undress, and some will leave their underwear on. Either way, you are ALWAYS covered with a sheet or blanket.
If your therapist is working on your back, only your back will be uncovered. Your modesty is protected at all times.
I am afraid to get a massage because I am embarrassed of my body.
We are not here to judge you, and we don't. We are massage therapists because we care about YOU and your well-being, not how you look.
We don't care about your weight, if you have back hair, scars or if you forgot to shave your legs. No need to feel self-conscious with us.
